This place is beautiful and tranquil, if you want to be away from all the hustle and bustle and just wind down and be pampered then this is the place to be. I would return again without a second thought. The staff are fantastic and work to make sure everything is perfect, even down to the buttons on the parasols on the beach to call for service. Due to its proximity to the holy mountain Athos, it creates a feeling of peace. I would suggest you have a car as it is not close to anywhere in particular. I wish we had known this was a place for walk and bikes tours as we would have taken our cycling kits, this is a lovely area to cycle in.
As lovely as the hotel is it would be nothing without good staff. Without exception everyone we met who worked at the Eagles Palace were kind, patient and efficient. They work as a team to add to the air of calm that pervades the hotel. Thank you all.
Hotel was spotless, every member of staff was pleasant, the week my wife and I spent there was an absolute joy.If you are now children free as we are this is the ideal hotel to unwind as everything happens at a lovely pace, the tranquility and setting are wonderful. As I wrote earlier all the staff are a credit to the hotels management, but Iif I had to pick a true star it would be guest relations manager Olga, she is the consummate professional.I believe the hotel is family run,I hope one day they fast track Olga into a hotel management position, she has all the attributes to prosper. So to sum up,if you want to really chill and be really looked after, try The Eagles Palace,I m sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.
